VIP: History of the University

Much of our content has been created by students working on the ‘History of the University’ project since 2026. This team-based undergraduate ‘Vertically-Integrated Project’ (or VIP) is run by the School of History and the University Collections team, and directed by Aileen Fyfe and Sarah Rodriguez.

In this video (5m50s), some of the team from our spring 2026 cohort explain what the VIP is all about, what it’s like working on it, and why this distinctive type of module is fun. The video was written, directed and produced by Mary McKeegan.
